Two class of chough comprise the type Pyrrhocorax of the Corvidae (crow) family of birds. These are the Red-billed Chough, and the Alpine or Yellow-billed Chough. Their neighboring connections external the type come keen on vision to be the jackdaws of the type Corvus. The White-winged Chough of Australia, although its name, is an associate of the family Corcoracidae and only indistinctly connected.
